Emergency & Energy Grant Eligibility: 
Your program must meet all the following criteria:
- Nonprofit organization located in Boston;
- Licensed, center-based ECE program in a community setting; grants cannot be used for public schools or government buildings.
- Serve a minimum of 50% children who meet EEC income eligibility guidelines
- ECE programs must operate on a full-day, full-year schedule
You must also show that your organization has the resources to continue to serve children and families.
Funding Priorities:
- Building emergencies
- Repairs related to licensing, health or safety concerns.
- Energy-efficient retrofits
- Program consolidation – closing under-enrolled sites or combining classrooms
- Facility improvements to meet accreditation standards.
Grant Size: $5,000-$50,000
Application Deadline: We are accepting no additional applications for the Fall 2011 grant cycle.
